D-α-Tocopherol (alpha-tocopherol) is a type of vitamin E. Its E number is “E307”. Vitamin E exists in eight different forms, four tocopherols and four tocotrienols. Compared to the others vitamin E, α-tocopherol is preferentially absorbed and accumulated in humans.

-Vitamin E is a fat-soluble vitamin and is one of the most important antioxidants. Soluble in organic solvent such as fat and ethanol, insoluble in water, stable to heat and acid, unstable to alkali, sensitive to oxygen and insensitive to heat, but the activity of vitamin E is significantly reduced when fried.

α tocopherol is clear, amber color, viscous oil with a slight characteristic vegetable oil aroma and mild taste.
