Experimental Properties: Permanent in air. At 400 °C loses water, forming metaphosphate|pH = 4.5 (1% aqueous solution). Forms ferroelectric crystals (Critical temperature = -151 °C)|At ordinary temperatures, monopotassium phosphate is so far above its Curie point as to give piezoelectric effects in which the emf is proportional to the distorting force. There is virtually no hysteresis.|Curie point: 123 K; Spontaneous polarization: 4.7 uC/cu cm at 110 K Critical Temperature & Pressure: Critical temperature = -151 °C
