Product Overview
Inositol, commercially supplied as Myo-Inositol, was historically named Vitamin B8. It is a water-soluble sugar alcohol and vitamin-like compound, not classified as an essential vitamin in modern nutrition because the human body can synthesize it endogenously from glucose.
Inositol has multiple stereoisomers. Myo-Inositol is the primary and commercially available isomer for food, pharma and feed applications. We supply Inositol in three grades: food grade, pharma grade and feed grade. The feed grade is mainly used in aquaculture feed for shrimp and fish.
