  Erythorbic acid

Erythorbic acid (isoascorbic acid, D-araboascorbic acid), a stereoisomer of ascorbic acid with similar physicochemical properties, is widely used as an antioxidant in processed foods.

1. Other name: D-Isoascorbic acid, D-araboascorbic acid

2. Character: white crystalline or powder, odourless, In the dry state it is reasonably stable in air, freely soluble in water; water solution easily oxidized by air; trace metal ions, heat and light can accelerate oxidation; relatively stable in dry state.

3. Certificates:  ISO9001, ISO22000, HALAL, KOSHER

4. Advantages and uses: D-Isoascorbic acid is a product made from Sodium D-Isoascorbate under acidic conditions. can be used as an antioxidant, a preservative and a color stabilizer in processed meat and fish products with the European food additive number E315.
