  Product Detail

D-allulose, also known as D-ribose-2-hexulose,  a rare monosaccharide with low contents that naturally exists in nature. It has the same characteristics as sucrose. The sweetness is 70% of sucrose, and the calories are 0.3% of sucrose. It is called “low-calorie sucrose”.

Other names: D-Allulose; D-Psicose; D-Ribo-2-hexulose;  Pseudofructose

Molecular formula : C6H12O6

Relative molecular mass : 180.16

CAS NO.: 551-68-8

Melting point: 58 °C

Sweet: 70% of sucrose

Calorie: 0.4kal/g

Smell: no special smell

Taste: sweet

Security: D-allulose is obtained from fructose derived from corn starch through enzymatic processing technology . It is highly tolerated and is considered generally safe (GRAS) .

Stability:  The structure and characteristics of D-allulose are extremely stable, non-hygroscopic, highly chemically inert, and can maintain its original state under acidic or alkaline conditions.

Health: D-psicose undergoes almost no metabolism after passing through the intestinal tract, is friendly to blood sugar and blood lipids, has no toxic side effects, and is a good functional sweetener.
