Naringin is a biolflavonoid antioxidant found in certain foods, such as citrus fruits. Naringin is used as a bittering agent .

It s also the main raw material of N aringin D ihydrochalcone which is a sweetener, and its sweetness is about 150 times that of sucrose.

Along with being an antioxidant, naringin has documented soothing properties and has potential to maintain or improve various aspects of bodily health when foods that contain it are routinely consumed.

Naringin has obvious anti-inflammatory effects, can reduce blood viscosity, reduce thrombus formation, and has analgesic, sedative and increased bile secretion in experimental animals, improves local microcirculation and nutrient supply, and can be used in the production of prevention and treatment of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases.
